This new initiative, North County N.O.W., is an effort to present many of our ongoing economic research projects in one, concise report. The goal is to provide a “mini version” of our annual North County Indicators report — one with fewer datapoints but more up-to-date information each quarter. Focusing on key indicators for the economic health in the North County region, general readers can find high-level overviews of:
- unemployment rate,
- building permits, and
- other top-level data.
SDNEDC members will receive the full, in-depth analysis, including:
- employment changes by industry,
- per capita taxable sales, and
- trends in job posting activity.
