Join us on May 1st for a town hall with business owners in San Diego North County and Southern Orange County hosted by Congressman Mike Levin. The call will focus on resources available to business owners to help them survive the COVID19 crisis as well as start the process of pivoting and thinking about how to thrive in the short, medium, and long-term.
Speakers:
Mike Levin, Congressman CA 49th Congressional District – Congressman Levin will provide an update on what may be in future stimulus bills, ideas for thinking about economic recovery in the 49th and discuss how to leverage congressional district office staff to help solve problems and connect you to local resources.
Daniel Fitzgerald, Associate Regional Director San Diego & Imperial Small Business Development Centers (SBDC): Mr. Fitzgerald will discuss the business consulting resources that small businesses can access through the SBDC which are free of charge and how to make your engagement with SBDC efficient, effective and position you to find solutions to your current business challenges.
Kevin Ham, Economic Development Director, City of Vista: Mr. Ham will cover economic development resources available throughout North County and talk about how, as a business owner, you can leverage these resources in the most efficient way possible to help you survive this crisis.
Robert Westfall, Jr., President, Solatube International, Inc. and additional Business owners (TBD): Hear from fellow business owners about what they are doing and how they are thinking through how to thrive in a COVID19 world.
