2022 and North County Commercial Real Estate:
The New New Normal or Not?

The past two years have seen unprecedented changes in the North County commercial real estate market.  The pandemic has greatly accelerated e-commerce and fueled a near insatiable demand for flex and warehouse space.  More and more companies are embracing a hybrid model of work, impacting the office market and forcing companies to rethink space requirements and what employees want.  The region’s life science companies continue to thrive and North county remains home to manufacturing companies in construction materials and active sports that benefits from shifts in consumer behavior.  Interest rates will rise next year, tightening credit markets and making capital for purchases more expensive.  It promises to be an exciting and unpredictable year.

Join us on February 16th for discussions and an outlook on what is likely to occur in both the commercial and industrial side of the North County market in 2022.  We will hear both an economic forecast for the region, a specific analysis of real estate conditions and the views from two of the leading brokers in north county.
