The Encinitas Environmental Education (E3) Collaborative, an association of nonprofit and public organizations in the Saxony-Quail Gardens Drive neighborhood, rivals Comic-Con in its economic impact. In a recent economic impact report by SDNEDC, we found that the E3 Collaborative supports 1,444 jobs and generates over $40 million in tax revenues, contributing $145.2 million to San Diego’s GRP in 2023!
SDNEDC carried out this work using IMPLAN, the industry-standard software program that allows for input-output analysis, coupled with 30+ years of experience in analyzing and understanding the San Diego economy. With experience developing these reports for organizations in the energy, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, educational and tourism industry, SDNEDC can assist a diverse set of North County companies in quantifying their impacts on the region.
Pricing for North County companies is significantly lower than private sector rates. SDNEDC offers this service to tell the story of our region’s thriving economy and recover the cost of the IMPLAN software. For more information, contact Erik at ebruvold@sdnedc.org.
